The Alzheimer’s Association Greater Indiana Chapter will host a free three-part series, “Living with Alzheimer’s for Caregivers: Early-Stage” and “Living with Alzheimer’s for the Person with Alzheimer’s Disease.”
Part I of the series starts Thursday, with part II on March 6 and part III on March 13. The programs will be 10 a.m. to noon at the Community Hospital South, located at 1402 E. County Line Road in the Education Center.
The program for caregivers describes the symptoms of early-stage Alzheimer’s disease. Topics discussed include legal, financial and resource planning as well as various components of a care team.
There is no fee to attend either program, but registration is requested by contacting the Alzheimer’s Association 24/7 Helpline at 800-272-3900.
