TERRE HAUTE — Franklin College broke the game open in the first half and went on to rout host Rose-Hulman Institute 56-39 in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference women’s basketball contest Wednesday night.
The Grizzlies improved to 7-2 in the HCAC, remaining in a second-place tie with Defiance College, and upped their overall record to 13-3 by winning their seventh straight contest overall.
The host Engineers fell to 2-7 in the conference and 6-10 overall.
