A Franklin man was arrested when the Johnson County SWAT team went into his apartment after police received a tip that he was selling drugs and had several firearms.
Santiago Jesus Heiny, 32, was arrested on charges of dealing more than 30 grams of marijuana, two charges of possession of a controlled substance and one charge of possession of a sawed-off shotgun.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office received a tip that Heiny was selling marijuana out of his apartment in the 700 block of West Madison Street and owned several firearms, according to a police report.
Officers got a search warrant and went into the apartment on Friday morning.
Police found about 80 grams of marijuana, prescription pills, scales, a smoking pipe, $279 in cash, four pistols, three rifles, and two shotguns, including one sawed-off shotgun, the report said.
