Franklin College graduate Eric Richards has been elected to a three-year term on the Indiana Artisan Board of Directors, a statewide program created in 2008 that recognizes and promotes the work of exceptional Hoosier artists and craftspeople.
Richards was elected because of his experience and career in organizational development.
As a current vice president of institutional advancement for the Little Red Door Cancer Agency, Richards oversees fundraising and marketing initiatives and develops corporate, foundation and individual relationships and strategies. Before that he held similar organizational development roles for the Indiana State Museum Foundation, Purdue University and Training Inc.
Richards holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Franklin College and a master’s degree in philanthropic studies from Indiana University. He is president of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Rotary Club, served on the Franklin College Alumni Council and is a part-time musician.
