Franklin eatery closed by franchise holder

The Long John Silver’s fast-food restaurant in Franklin has closed its doors.

The seafood restaurant at 1730 N. Morton St. was closed Aug. 17 by its franchise owner, according to Ebony Page of LJS Partners in Louisville, Kentucky.

All Long John Silver’s stores nationally are owned by franchisees, Page said.
