Franklin College player earns another All-America honor

Postseason honors continue for Franklin College senior split end Kyle Linville, who has been named a first-team All-American for the 2013 season by D3football.com.

Earlier, Linville earned NCAA Division III All-American honors by the American Football Coaches Association and was a finalist for the Gagliardi Award, awarded to Division III’s top player.

Linville set a single-season school record in 2013 with 108 receptions for 1,374 yards and 14 touchdowns to help the Grizzlies earn their fourth consecutive Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference championship and Division III playoff appearance.

His 53 career touchdowns and 4,691 receiving yards were the most among all active NCAA division players, regardless of division.

He ended his career with 308 catches.
