Johnson County teens can have a say in the direction 4-H takes or where money should be spent for agricultural programs.
The county’s Purdue Extension office is seeking a new youth board member.
Candidates must be at least 16 years and a county resident. The term length would be a maximum of two years.
Responsibilities include attending five board meetings per year at the extension office; reviewing and assisting in providing program review and direction to the extension staff; reviewing and making recommendations to the extension budget; and reviewing personnel.
Applications are due March 8.
