Franciscan St. Francis Health is distributing information this week about advance health-care directives.
Directives are the specific instructions given by individuals specifying what actions should be taken in the event that they are no longer able to make health care decisions due to illness or incapacity.
Information booths will be set up from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Franciscan St. Francis-Indianapolis, 8111 S. Emerson Ave., Indianapolis, in the cafeteria.
An information station also will be hosted from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the Greenwood Park Mall at the Rejuvenation Station in front of Sears. Hospital clinical experts, social workers and chaplains will answer questions.
The events coincide with the National Health Care Decisions Day.
