Johnson County residents can drop off electronics for recycling and documents to be shredded June 21 at the county’s recycling office.
The recycling district will collect items from 9 a.m. to noon at its office, 900 Arvin Road, Suite A, Franklin.
Electronics also can be dropped off during normal weekly business hours from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1:30 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call ahead to ensure someone is there to accept items.
The following fees apply for televisions: $7 for sets 27 inches or smaller; and $12 for televisions larger than 27 inches. Only cash or checks will be accepted. All other electronics accepted for free.
