On behalf of all teachers, I want to thank you for showing appreciation to teachers! The free movie admission to see “To Sir with Love” at the Artcraft Theatre, bag of goodies and the fabulous prizes to be won were much appreciated. Thank you for your support!

Hearts to Maribeth Alspach for her energetic and exemplary leadership as the first president of the Clark Pleasant Education Foundation, guiding us through the incorporation process and our first year as a foundation. Her ongoing efforts to benefit her community are a model for us all.

When you move into a new neighborhood you really seldom know anything about the neighbors. When we moved here 26 years ago, we found great neighbors all around us, but I must brag on one in particular, Mr. J.W. Brewer. Todd always told him, “Don’t leave until I do.” He has been so good to both of us. This last winter was so harsh, and J.W. has been a godsend. I cannot thank him enough. Thanks, J.W.

Darts to the Town of Prince’s Lakes street department and town council for your inconsiderate placement of the winding road sign directly in front of our home. Your reasoning that there is not enough room at the end of the road is interesting considering there are three signs at the other end of the road in half of the space available at our end. Thank you for working with the citizens that pay your salaries.
