The Edinburgh boys basketball team entered Thursday night’s regular-season finale looking for momentum.
The Class A Lancers got what they were looking for in the form of a 57-45 win against visiting Class 3A Brown County.
And it couldn’t have come a a better time.
After enduring a stretch of four straight losses, the Lancers beat Mid-Hoosier Conference rival Southwestern (Shelby) on Tuesday and will now take a two-game winning streak into the postseason
Tournament-host Edinburgh (13-1) plays Morristown (13-6) on Feb. 27. The Yellow Jackets defeated the host Lancers 55-52 on Jan. 25.
