Dentist’s office raising funds for mission trip

Follow Daily Journal:

Getting your teeth cleaned this October can help the mission work of a local dentist.

Southside dentist Dr. Ted Reese and his staff of the Indianapolis Center for Implant & Cosmetic Dentistry will offer reduced fees for dental services between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Oct. 3.

All fees will be donated to cover the expenses of a dental mission trip to El Salvador in January.

Costs include the following: cleaning: $50; sealants, $35; filling: $75 to $175; one extraction: $100 to $200. Whitening strips will be available for $39.

The office is also collecting flip-flops and used eyeglasses for the trip. Donations can also be dropped off at the office at 7218 S. U.S. 31, Indianapolis.

Reese and his staff are going on the trip Jan. 10 to 17. The office and a church in El Salvador will provide aid to some of the poorest regions around San Salvador.

They will also host a dental conference to teach local dentists advanced skills and raise money for a local free dental clinic.

There will be a limited number of appointments available.

Call 882-0228 to schedule an appointment.
