An Edinburgh manufacturer will create four new jobs when it adds new equipment.
Sacoma International will purchase $640,000 in new machinery, including a hydraulic press and welding equipment. The company manufactures parts for the automotive industry, Edinburgh building commissioner Wade Watson said.
Sacoma currently employs 95 people at its plant at 955 S. Walnut St. The new equipment will allow the company to create four new jobs.
The company had requested a 10-year tax break on the new equipment, which town council members approved unanimously this week, town council president Ron Hoffman said.
