Clock donated, to be displayed outside Greenwood city hall

Follow Daily Journal:

A longtime Greenwood resident donated a clock to the city to install at the new city building.

Geraldine Bagby died in October; and as part of her will, she asked that a free-standing, memorial clock be ordered for the city.

Bagby was a graduate of Greenwood Community High School. She was also a teacher at schools in Trafalgar and Franklin and was the first female vice principal in Indiana.

The clock will be installed in the parking lot of the new Greenwood city building. Last week and this week, city employees were moving their offices from the Polk building, Greenwood’s city hall of about 30 years, to the new city building, which is the former Presnell office tower.
