Celebrity chef dishes on famous foodies, better choices

Getting celebrities to open up about their personal lives or their latest love interest can be next to impossible.

But chef Nikki Shaw has no problems getting them to talk about her favorite subject — food.

She’s interviewed Jack Nicholson to discuss his favorite dessert, baked cinnamon apple pie. David Beckham shared his recipe for angel hair pasta with fresh tomato and basil, while Kareem Abdul-Jabbar raved about an asparagus and hollandaise dish.

“Food is everybody’s love language. When you’re a chef, everybody loves you. So it’s not hard to get celebrities to open up about food,” Shaw said. “It’s not like you’re asking who they’re sleeping with. They’re comfortable with this.”
