Greenwood dentist honored
The Indiana Dental Association honored Greenwood dentist Dr. Paul Jansen at an awards ceremony for members of the association in early June.
He was recognized for serving as the president of the Indianapolis District Dental Society.

Firm announces promotion
Greenwood-based National Trade Supply LLC, an online retailer of home improvement supplies, has announced that Tyler Dishman, the company’s former chief information officer, was promoted to president of the firm.
Dishman, 35, is in charge of overseeing the company’s technology, customer service, marketing and finance.
An original member of National Trade Supply’s startup team, Dishman has been with the firm since 2003. His contributions to the company’s marketing and information technology programs aided in the company’s growth.
Internet Retailer, an internet retail industry magazine, listed the company among the nation’s top 500 online retailers for the fifth year in a row.
Dishman is a 1994 graduate of Southport High School in Indianapolis, and he has a bachelor’s of science degree in computer engineering from Purdue University.
Dishman and his wife, Stacey, live in Indianapolis with their seven children.
Franklin resident top agent
Allstate exclusive agency owner and Franklin resident Gary Young has been named an Allstate Premier Service Agent for 2012.
The honor is given to agents who demonstrate a commitment to outstanding customer service.

Company donates to group
Johnson Heating Cooling and Plumbing recently gave more than $1,060 to Warrior’s Hope.
The company conducted a campaign over several months during which company staff members, customers and supporters gave money to support the nonprofit group. Warrior’s Hope assists veterans and returning active-duty military service members who have combat-related imagery and other trauma.
