A Bargersville teen drove into the edge of a pond Thursday after hitting a patch of ice and losing control of his vehicle.
Noah Johnson, 16, was driving west on Smokey Row Road near the intersection of Oakmont Boulevard about 5:30 p.m. when his car slid off the road after hitting a patch of ice, according to a Bargersville Police Department report.
The car hit an iron fence and a concrete barrier before stopping at the edge of a nearby pond, Bargersville officer Zach Elliott said.
“The car wasn’t fully submerged. He was able to walk out without getting wet,” Elliott said.
Johnson was not injured in the accident.
