Annual pork chop meal helps scholarship fund

An annual pork chop dinner will fund scholarships.

The 16th annual Carrie Clayburn Memorial Dinner will be at 5 p.m. Feb. 8 at Indian Creek High School, 803 Indian Creek Drive, Trafalgar.

Pork chops provided by the Indian Creek FFA, and a smorgasbord dinner will be provided by area churches.

A freewill offering will go to a scholarship in Clayburn’s name.

Clayburn was active in 4-H and was a member of a soil judging team. She died in 1998 of acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis.
