Four people were injured in a weekend accident east of Greenwood.
Greenwood resident Andrew Copeland, 43, was driving south on Matthews Road near Watson Road when he saw a car in front of him turning left at the bottom of a hill, according to a Johnson County Sheriff’s Office report.
Copeland told police he tried to avoid hitting the other car, driven by Indianapolis resident Martin Nilsson, but still hit the driver’s side of Nilsson’s car, the report said. Nilsson’s car then spun around and struck a tree, according to the report.
