Four people were arrested after an apartment complex maintenance worker in Greenwood told police he saw them carrying electronics out of a home.
Treyvor Lee Teel-Foy, 21, 4240 Rue Leblanc Court, Apt. 3A; Damon Lamont James, 19, 5764 San Paulo Circle; Billy Wayne Meeks, 19, 8106 E. 47th St.; and Tyler William Xavier Leibacher, 19, 7214 E. 52nd St., all of Indianapolis, were arrested Tuesday on charges of burglary.
A maintenance worker at Sandstone Apartments in Greenwood saw a group of men he didn’t recognize as residents waiting in a parking spot in front of an apartment building at 1128 Paz Drive. The worker watched the men and saw one of them coming out of the building carrying electronics, according to a police report.
The worker asked the men what they were doing and they got in the car and drove away. The worker saw them go north, get out of the car and run into the neighborhood, according to the report.
Police later found Teel-Foy walking along the side of County Line Road and arrested him. A police dog tracked the other men from the car, and police found them in a wooded area north of County Line Road, where they were arrested.
Police found three TVs, a Nintendo Wii game system and Wii Fit balance board in the car, according to the police report.
All four men were taken to the Johnson County jail and held on $20,000 bonds.
