3 county residents found asleep in stolen vehicle

Three people were arrested after police found them asleep inside a stolen vehicle.

Jason Twombly, 18, and Devon Bline, 20, both of Greenwood, were arrested on charges of auto theft, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, and marijuana possession.

Kelsey Bailey, 21, Whiteland, was arrested on a charge of marijuana possession.

 

Police found a stolen Ford Edge with Bline, Twombly, and Bailey asleep inside in the parking lot of the Fanta Suites hotel, located near Main Street and Interstate 65, according to a Greenwood Police Department report.

Multiple small bags of marijuana and other paraphernalia were found inside the car where all three people had been sitting, the report said.

Bline, 725 Woodale Terrace, Apt. 4, was being held in Johnson County jail on $20,000 bond, and Twombly, 1243 Easy St., was being held $10,000 bond. Bailey, 3125 E. County Road 700N, was released on $3,000 bond.
