The event Sept. 14, Hope Flies Stars for Audrey, is named for 4-year-old Audrey Howe and will benefit the Foundation for Mitochondrial Medicine to fund treatment-oriented research and awareness. Audrey is the daughter of Katy and Jason Howe of Greenwood.

The event will begin at 5 p.m. at SS. Francis and Clare Church, 5901 Olive Branch Road in the Center Grove area. This family-oriented night will feature raffle items and a marionette show for children and will finish at 8 p.m. with a lantern display to honor Audrey and increase awareness for mitochondrial disease.
