• Burglary

• 400 block of Arvin Road: Police responded at 3:42 a.m. Monday to a report of a burglarized business in which the criminals cut holes into a door and attempted to steal a 4,000-pound copper cylinder valued at about $24,000.

• 400 block of Center Street: Police responded at 5:38 p.m. Friday to a report of attempted burglary at a home. A resident reported finding pry marks on a front door.

• Criminal mischief

• 2100 block of Bridlewood Drive: Police responded at 6:14 p.m. Sunday to a report of overturned benches and displaced cement blocks in a park.

• 200 block of East Adams Street: Police responded at 3:43 p.m. Sunday to a report of a shattered rear window on a vehicle. The resident also reported suspicious items found in the house that don’t belong to the household.

• Community Park, 699 E. King St.: Police responded at 7:43 a.m. Saturday to a report of a damaged grill.

• Drug investigation

• 2100 block of Traditions Court: Police responded at 2:39 p.m. Friday to a report of an odor of marijuana emanating from a home. The residents gave marijuana and drug paraphernalia to the police officers, and a man was arrested.

• Thefts

• Walmart, 2125 N. Morton St.: Police responded at 11:17 p.m. Sunday to a report of shoplifting. A woman was

• arrested.

• Walmart, 2125 N. Morton St.: Police responded at 4:17 p.m. Sunday to a report of shoplifting. A woman was issued a no-trespass order.

• 800 block of Canary Creek Drive: Police responded at 3:14 p.m. Sunday to a report of a stolen driver’s license possibly used to buy medicine at a drugstore illegally.

• Walmart, 2125 N. Morton St.: Police responded at 5:04 p.m. Friday to a report of shoplifting. A woman was arrested on charges of theft, battery and possession of a synthetic drug.

• Walmart, 2125 N. Morton St.: Police responded at 3:53 p.m. Friday to a report of shoplifting. A man was arrested for attempting to steal nearly $700 worth of merchandise.

• 200 block of East King Street: Police responded at 3:09 p.m. Friday to a report of theft of registration and insurance information that was taken out of a vehicle.

• Kohl’s, 415 Mallory Parkway: Police responded at 1:40 p.m. Friday to a report of shoplifting. A woman was

• arrested.

• Battery

• 1000 block of South Morgantown Road, Greenwood: Police responded at 6:42 a.m. Monday to a report of domestic battery. A man was arrested on charges of domestic battery and

• strangulation.

• Johnson Memorial Hospital, 1125 W. Jefferson St., Franklin: Police responded at 12:31 p.m. Sunday to a report of a battery.

• 4600 block of South County Road 550E: Police responded at 4:19 p.m. Friday to a report of battery.

• Criminal mischief

• 700 block of Jackson Road: Police responded at 11:05 a.m. Sunday to a report of a basketball goal and vehicles that were spray-painted.

• 2800 block of Rylee Court: Police responded at 11:14 a.m. Saturday to a report of a vandalized vehicle. Someone keyed and egged the car.

• Fraud

• 3000 block of Grace Street: Police responded at 7:50 p.m. Friday to a report of someone attempting to use a stolen identity to open a credit card account.

• Residential entry

• 1000 block of East County Road 775S: Police responded at 3:52 a.m. Saturday to a report of a man breaking windows at a home following a fight. A man was arrested on charges of battery and criminal mischief.

• Thefts

• 6500 block of South County Road 200W: Police responded at 8:47 p.m. Friday to a report of two stolen

• chain saws.

• Santos Samuel Rubio, 29, 6405 Consulate Court, Apt. 1721, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of driving without ever receiving a license; held on $1,000 bond.

• Joshua Rayl, 22, 5477 Woodhollow Drive, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of criminal mischief and battery; held on $2,000 bond.

• Logan Spencer Edwards IV, 26, 8739 S. Keystone Ave., Apt. 3, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of driving while suspended or revoked and possession of marijuana; held on $4,000 bond.

• Tammi Marlene Hendricks, 41, 1506 Douglas Drive, Franklin; arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court; released on $100 bond.
