• Shoplifting

• Kohl’s, 415 Mallory Parkway: A loss-prevention officer reported at 1:56 p.m. Wednesday that a woman attempted to steal two pairs of shorts and a shirt. She was arrested.

• Kohl’s, 415 Mallory Parkway: A loss-prevention officer reported at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday that a man attempted to steal cologne and underwear from the store. He was arrested.

• Theft

• Jail lobby, 1091 Hospital Road: A woman reported at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday that guns and a video game system were stolen from her vehicle.

• Property-damage accidents

• 12:05 p.m. Wednesday — King Street and Forsythe Street.

• 6 p.m. Tuesday — U.S. 31 and Banta Street.

• 4 p.m. Tuesday — 1300 block of W. Jefferson Street.

• 400 block of McCarty Street: A man reported at 9:43 a.m. Tuesday that someone stole a license plate from a trailer parked on his property.

• 1:15 p.m. Monday — Averitt Road and Ashton Parke Drive.

• 7:10 a.m. Saturday — State Road 135N., and Curry Road.

• Theft

• Central Nine Career Center, 1999 S. U.S. 31: Police responded at 7:14 p.m. Tuesday to a report of theft from a vehicle.

• Johnson County

• Traffic offense

• S. U.S. 31 and E. County Road 350S., Franklin: An officer stopped a car for speeding at 9:25 p.m. Wednesday. One woman in the car was arrested on warrants, the other was arrested on charges of possession of paraphernalia.

• Personal-injury accident

• 7:50 a.m. Wednesday — Center Line Road and County Road 260N., Franklin. Brendan J. Holzhausen, 17, Bargersville had minor elbow bleeding.

• Criminal mischief

• Johnson County Jail, 1091 Hospital Road: An officer reported at 8:24 p.m. Tuesday that an inmate damaged a sprinkler head, flooding a cell block.
