Franklin

• Criminal mischief

• 2000 block of St. Andrews Court: Police responded at 5:51 p.m. Monday to a report of a damaged vehicle.

• 300 block of West Street: Police responded at 5:07 p.m. Monday to a report of a vandalized vehicle.

• Franklin pool, 390 Branigin Blvd.: Police responded at 9:13 a.m. Monday to a report of a damaged picnic table near the pool.

Thefts

• Speedway, 701 W. Adams St.: Police responded at 5:23 p.m. Monday to a report of $400 in cash stolen from a customer after the money fell out of his pocket.

• 2100 block of Galaxy Drive: Police responded at 2:40 p.m. Monday to a report of stolen prescription medication.

• Brown’s Tree Service, 201 S. U.S. 31: Police responded at 9:24 a.m. Monday to a report of stolen chainsaws and other equipment that were taken from the business.

Property-damage accidents

• 4:30 p.m. Monday: 2165 Earlywood Drive

• 4:33 p.m. Monday: U.S. 31 and Simon Road

• 11:39 a.m. Monday: Monroe and Jackson streets

Johnson County

• Criminal mischief

• 800 block of Mullinix Road, Greenwood: Police responded at 4:21 p.m. Monday to a report of a vandalized phone box at a residence.

Fraud

• 3500 block of South Morgantown Road, Greenwood: Police responded at 3:02 p.m. Monday to a report of a phone scam in which the victim was told he had an outstanding warrant and would be arrested unless he paid a fine of nearly $700 using a prepaid credit card. The person who called the victim claimed to be with the Johnson County Sheriff’s office.

Thefts

• Report made at sheriff’s office, 1091 Hospital Road: Police responded at 3:21 p.m. Monday to a report of a stolen bottle of prescription medication.

Jail bookings

The following people recently were arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

• Mary E. Ebeyer, 37, 848 N. Denny St., Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a prior conviction and on a Marion County warrant; held without bond.

• Kimberly Anne Shepard, 40, 1520 Shelby St., Shelbyville; arrested on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender; held on $3,000 bond.

• Angela Marie Burton, 47, 301 S. Main St., Apt. 1, Hope; arrested on charges of restricted use of a drug injection device, legend drug deception, theft or receiving stolen property, possession of cocaine, narcotics or methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia; held on $13,000 bond.

• Joseph F. Wagner, 32, 441 Spring Drive, Greenwood; arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court; released on $350 bond.

• Eugenia L. Elsey, 35, 710 Ashmore Drive, Greenwood; arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court; released on $350 bond.

• Fernando Garcia-Gonzalez, 24, 614 Pleasant St., Edinburgh; arrested on a charge of driving without a license without ever receiving one; held on $1,000 bond.

• Brian Scott Stewart, 38, 210 N. Bluff Road, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of bond forfeiture; held without bond.

• Christopher Addison Parker, 21, 454 Orchardview Drive, Greenwood; arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court and on a charge of driving while suspended with a prior conviction; held on $1,350 bond.

• Lindsay Noelle Baldwin, 29, 1121 Ashland Ave., New Whiteland; arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana; released on $1,000 bond.

• Megan Ann Atwood, 21, 530 Palmer St., Franklin; arrested on a charge of driving without a license without ever receiving one; held on $2,000 bond.

The following person recently was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated and booked into jail:

• Gregory Alan Doyon, 48, 4044 Fairoaks Court, Franklin; held on $3,000 bond.
