• 5200 block of Mount Pleasant Street: Police responded at 2:30 p.m. Thursday to a report of attempted fraud through a mail scam.

• 900 block of West County Road 500N: Police responded at 5:17 p.m. Thursday to a report of stolen welding cable.

• 5300 block of Cody Lane: Police responded at 1:55 p.m. Thursday to a report of a missing iPad.

• Sherry Lynn Porter, 48, 1880 Lakeside Drive, Apt. H, Franklin; arrested for probation revocation; released on $8,000 bond.

• Joseph Paul Smith, 36, 602 N. Clay St., Edinburgh; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $350 bond.

• Victoria Claudia Dimarco, 23, 3773 Highland Park Drive, Greenwood;

• arrested for probation revocation; held without bond.

• Shane W. Baker, 24, 2525 Southeastern Ave., Indianapolis; arrested on an out-of-county warrant; held without bond.

• Thomas James Maloney, 20, 2338 Boulder Road, Dyer; arrested on a Porter County warrant; held without bond.

• Joshua Lee Carmichael 25, 975 E. Drybread Lane, Nineveh; arrested on charges of contempt of court; held on $1,225 bond.

• Daniel M. Shaffer, 29, 2939 Skyline Drive, Indianapolis; arrested for probation revocation; held on $3,000 bond.

• Chelsea Elizabeth Edwards, 22, 10961 Horseshoe Drive, Brownsburg; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $500 bond.
