    Thefts
    Walmart, 2125 N. Morton St.: A loss-prevention officer reported at 3:08 p.m. Thursday that a man attempted to steal headphones. The man was arrested.
    1100 block of Northpointe Drive: A woman reported at 4:32 p.m. Wednesday that a package was missing from her door.
    Property-damage accidents

    Thefts
    200 block of Peachtree Court: Police responded at 10:33 a.m. Wednesday to a report of theft.
    Greenwood Park Mall parking lot, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 2:18 p.m. Wednesday to a report of laptops stolen from a vehicle.
    Battery
    1300 block of Worthsville Road: Police responded at 6:11 p.m. Wednesday to a report of battery.

    The following people recently were arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:
    Sheena Renee Smith, 29, 1868 W. State Road 44, Franklin; arrested on warrants for failure to appear in court; held without bond.
    Matthew Ryan Baker, 24, 7311 S. Millikan Court, Nineveh; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $350 bond.
    Nicholas Allen Prather, 41, 493 Jackson Place, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of domestic battery; released on $1,000 bond.
    Stephanie Ann Hommel, 21, 157 Love Ave., Apt. F, Greenwood; arrested on a Henry County warrant; held without bond.
    Joshua D. Hobson, 22, 1920 Shady Lane, Columbus; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $468 bond.
