Franklin

• Shoplifting

• Walmart, 2125 N. Morton St.: Police responded at 7:18 p.m Tuesday to a report of a shoplifter.

Theft

• 2800 block of North Morton Street: A woman reported at 1:28 p.m. Tuesday that someone stole her deceased sister’s purse and wrote a check on her account.

Property-damage accidents

• 5:54 p.m. Tuesday — U.S. 31 and Main Street

• 3:30 p.m. Tuesday — U.S. 31 and Main Street

Greenwood

Criminal mischief

• Four Seasons, 1140 N. State Road 135: A man reported at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday that someone threw a rock into a window.

• 1000 block of Sycamore Court: Police responded at 11:39 p.m. Tuesday to a report of criminal mischief.

Thefts

• 700 block of Wooddale Terrace: Police responded at 8:16 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a stolen moped.

• 400 block of Clearview Court: Police responded at 8:55 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a stolen wallet.

• 1000 block of Commerce Parkway: Police responded at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday to a report of theft of a license plate from a boat trailer.

• 2100 block of Providence Drive: A man reported at 8:12 a.m. Wednesday that a relative stole $120 from his house.

• 900 block of Fry Road: Police responded at 5:55 p.m. Tuesday to a report of stolen coins.

Burglary

• 1300 block of Norton Drive: Police responded at 8:03 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a burglary from a construction site.

• 1700 block of Buckeye Court: Police responded at noon Tuesday to a report of a burglary.

Property-damage accident

• 1:30 p.m. Tuesday — County Line Road and Meridian Street

Johnson County

• Fraud

• 900 block of Santa Maria Drive: A man reported at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday that someone attempted to get his Social Security number by telling him there was a problem with his debit card.

Thefts

• Nineveh Self-Storage, 8034 S. Nineveh Road, Nineveh: An employee reported at 10:56 a.m. Tuesday that a catalytic converter was stolen from a U-Haul truck that is stored at the lot.

• 7600 block of Peoga Road, Trafalgar: A man reported at 1:44 p.m. Tuesday that an acquaintance stole his truck.

Criminal mischief

• Fairgrounds, Franklin: A man reported at 12:49 p.m. Tuesday that tire tracks had damaged grass at the fairgrounds.

Battery

• Johnson County Jail, 1091 Hospital Road, Franklin: An officer reported at 1:07 p.m. Wednesday that an inmate swatted at a juice cup, causing the cup to hit an officer.

• Paula Mae Hagan, 46, 206 Hart St., Edinburgh; arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana; released on $1,000 bond.

• Corey Benjamin Hillis, 20, 2374 Willow Circle Drive, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a previous conviction; released on $2,000 bond.

• Elmer A. Retana, 28, 1925 High Eagle Trail, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of driving without ever receiving a license; held on $1,000 bond.

• Andre Lonzo Bailey, 53, 217 Averitt Road, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a previous conviction; released on $1,000 bond.

• Jill R. Harris, 40, 648 Stonemill Drive, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of probation revocation; held on $500 bond.
