• Thefts

• 300 block of East Jefferson Street: Police responded at 5:46 p.m. Monday to a report of a stolen cellphone valued at $150.

• 1400 block of Tamara Court: Police responded at 11:39 a.m. Monday to a report of a stolen water heater at a vacant property. The copper pipes to the water heater had been cut and taken, and the kitchen sink had been removed.

• 400 block of Wiley Street: Police responded at 5:05 p.m. Sunday to a report of unlawful entry into a residence.

• Criminal mischief

• Four Seasons, 1140 N. State Road 135: Police responded at 7:50 a.m. Monday to a report of a damaged window from a thrown rock.

• Theft

• Walmart, 1133 N. Emerson Ave.: Police responded at 3:51 p.m. Sunday to a report of shoplifting. An individual was issued a summons to appear in city court on a charge of conversion.

• 9:43 a.m. Friday — State Road 135 and Fairview Road: Lois M. Weddell, 78, Indianapolis; Bobbie G. Dunigan, 80, Greenwood, reported pain; Alfreda Dunigen, 93, Greenwood, reported chest pain.

• 6:59 p.m. Monday to a report of a woman being held against her will at her home. A man was arrested.

• Fraud

• 1100 block of North Morgantown Road, Greenwood: Police responded at 10:42 a.m. Monday to a report of attempted check fraud through an online transaction.

• Theft

• 300 block of Paddock Road: Police responded at 4:24 p.m. Monday to a report of a handgun stolen out of a vehicle.

• The following people recently were arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

• Shawn Ryan Creech, 22, 4610 Kathi Drive, Apt. C, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia; released on $2,000 bond.

• Joseph P. Ferran, 32, 2085 State Road 252, Martinsville; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a previous conviction and on a Hendricks County warrant; held without bond.

• Christian Nunez, 29, 3214 Bristlecone Court, Whiteland; arrested on a charge of habitual traffic offenses; released on $3,000 bond.

• Timothy L. Duke, 18, 454 Carol Drive, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of battery; released on $1,000 bond.
