• Fraud

• 1900 block of Puller Place: Police responded at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday to a report of identity theft.

• First block of South Milford Drive: Police responded at 1:12 p.m. Wednesday to a report of possible fraudulent check transactions.

• Theft

• Walmart, 2125 N. Morton St.: Police responded at 3:42 p.m. Wednesday to a report of shoplifting. A man was arrested for attempting to steal several items.

• 7:58 p.m. Tuesday: Interstate 65 at mile-marker 90: John C. Gilley, 58, Markleville; Allison R. Franklin, 48, Indianapolis, reported head pain.

• Burglary

• 700 block of Alexander Street: Police responded at 5:44 p.m. Wednesday to a report of burglary.

• Thefts

• LaQuinta Inn, 1281 South Park Drive: Police responded at 7:51 a.m. Thursday to a report of theft from a vehicle.

• Greenwood Park Mall, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 9:47 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a van stolen from the parking lot.

• Olive Garden, 1274 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 8:38 p.m. Wednesday to a report of theft.

• Walmart, 1133 N. Emerson Ave.: Police responded at 7:36 p.m. Wednesday to a report of theft. A woman was arrested.

• Greenwood Park Mall, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 4:29 p.m. Wednesday to a report of stolen coats.

• Walmart, 1133 N. Emerson Ave.: Police responded at 2:57 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a fleeing shoplifter.

• 1200 block of Stonehedge Drive East: Police responded at 1:53 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a package stolen from a front porch.

• 1100 block of North Emerson Avenue: Police responded at 1:38 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a fleeing shoplifter.

• LA Fitness, 540 N. State Road 135: Police responded at 8:29 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a wallet and iPhone stolen from a vehicle.

• 3 p.m. Wednesday: 709 U.S. 31 South: Paula K. Strong, 53, Lafayette; Mary Ison, 74, New Whiteland, reported pain in a hip or upper leg.

• 7:20 p.m. Wednesday: State Road 135 and Stones Crossing Road: Cameron Conkin, 41, Greenwood; Ashley Elsey, 17, Greenwood, reported chest pain; Lauren Fife, 25.

• Burglary

• Mini Barn Sales, 4510 U.S. 31 South, Franklin: Police responded at 3:51 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a break-in at the business in which four four-wheelers were stolen. The loss was estimated at about $3,400.

• Fraud

• 3800 block of Chelsea Terrace: Police responded at 7:22 p.m. Wednesday to a report of fraudulent credit card transactions online.

• Theft

• 4100 block of Raintree Boulevard: Police responded at 10:17 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a stolen backhoe.

• Scott Anthony Smithey, 45, 127 Church St., Southport; arrested for probation revocation and on a charge of driving while suspended with a prior conviction; held without bond.

• Brian J. Jones, 18, 3211 Byrd Drive, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of violation of community corrections and escape; held without bond.

• Zachery M. Roark, 33, 624 Sweetbriar Ave., New Whiteland; arrested for probation revocation; held without bond.

• Nicholas W. Temperly, 23, 2068 Berry Road, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of criminal mischief; released on $2,000 bond.

• Bradley W. Sittloh, 38, 805 S. State St., Franklin; arrested on a charge of theft; released on $3,000 bond.

• James A. Hoosier, 30, 5437 Fallwood Drive, Apt. 109, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and driving while suspended with a prior conviction; released on $2,000 bond.

• Michele M. Beg, 48, 2425 Albany St., B-19, Beech Grove; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a prior conviction; held on $1,000 bond.

• The following people recently were arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and booked into jail:
