• Battery

• 900 block of Ravine Drive: Police responded at 6:52 p.m. Friday to a report of battery.

• Burglary

• 500 block of South Morton Street: Police responded at 5:01 a.m. Saturday to a report of an iPhone 3 and a Kindle that were stolen from a burglarized hotel room.

• Thefts

• 1900 block of Lakeside Drive: Police responded at 12:08 p.m. Sunday to a report of a stolen van.

• 4100 block of Beechwood Court: Police responded at 7:58 p.m. Saturday to a report of a stolen food stamp card and cellphone.

• Walmart, 2125 N. Morton St.: Police responded at 2:39 p.m. Saturday to a report of shoplifting. A woman was arrested.

• 1500 block of Younce Street: Police responded at 1:27 p.m. Saturday to a report of theft of power tools valued at about $400.

• 1600 block of Francis Street: Police responded at 4:11 p.m. Friday to a report of a stolen bike.

• Walmart, 2125 N. Morton St.: Police responded at 9:01 a.m. Friday to a report of a stolen purse containing $1,700 in cash.

• First block of Village Crossing Drive: Police responded at 12:02 a.m. Sunday to a report of battery.

• 400 block of Pitch Pine Drive: Police responded at 12:45 a.m. Saturday to a report of battery.

• Burglary

• 1000 block of Sierra Madre Drive: Police responded at 8:36 a.m. Sunday to a report of an apartment burglary.

• Criminal mischief

• 1700 block of Eastwood Street: Police responded at 7:15 p.m. Sunday to a report of paint being thrown on a car.

• The Hearth at Stones Crossing, 2339 S. State Road 135: Police responded at 6:32 a.m. Saturday to a report of a window broken out of a vehicle.

• Fraud

• 100 block of Totten Drive: Police responded at 9:20 a.m. Sunday to a report of fraudulent charges on a credit card.

• 600 block of Metairie Drive: Police responded at 10:03 a.m. Saturday to a report of fraud that occurred outside city limits.

• 400 block of Greenwood Park Drive: Police responded at 10:25 p.m. Sunday to a report of theft from a vehicle.

• Kohl’s, 550 Fry Road: Police responded at 8:55 p.m. Sunday to a report of theft. A girl was apprehended and released to her mother for attempting to steal $36 worth of clothing.

• 1100 block of Emerson Avenue: Police responded at 8:21 p.m. Sunday to a report of theft. An arrest was made for conversion.

• 2100 block of Peck Street: Police responded at 2:23 p.m. Sunday to a report of stolen prescription medication.

• 1200 block of West Stillwater Lane: Police responded at 12:30 p.m. Sunday to a report of theft from a vehicle.

• 1400 block of Pencross Lane: Police responded at 11:10 a.m. Sunday to a report of theft from an unlocked vehicle.

• Road Ranger, 1615 E. Main St.: Police responded at 7:48 a.m. Sunday to a report of several cases of pork loin stolen from a semitrailer after it was broken into.

• Kohl’s, 550 Fry Road: Police responded at 7:31 p.m. Saturday to a report of shoplifting. A girl was arrested on a charge of stealing $118 worth of clothing. She was released to her mother.

• Von Maur, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 6:23 p.m. Saturday to a report of theft. A juvenile was arrested.

• Jonathan Byrd’s, 100 Byrd Way: Police responded at 3:49 p.m. Saturday to a report of theft from a vehicle.

• 1200 block of Kenwood Drive: Police responded at 2:57 p.m. Saturday to a report of an iPod stolen from a vehicle parked in a driveway.

• Kmart, 860 U.S. 31 South: Police responded at 2:48 p.m. Saturday to a report of employee theft.

• Kohl’s, 550 Fry Road: Police responded at 2:30 p.m. Friday to a report of a woman who attempted to steal several items valued at $300. She was arrested.

• 600 block of Fairview Drive: Police responded at 2:08 p.m. Friday to a report of stolen medication.

• 100 block of Melody Avenue: Police responded at 1:46 p.m. Friday to a report of stolen equipment.

• 100 block of Love Avenue: Police responded at 10:34 a.m. Friday to a report of stolen catalytic converters.

• Red Roof Inn, 110 Sheek Road: Police responded at 10:11 a.m. Friday to a catalytic converter stolen off a vehicle.

• First block of South Smart Street: Police responded at 8:35 a.m. Friday to a report of stolen lawn ornaments.

• 600 block of Woodlawn Drive: Police responded at 8:12 a.m. Friday to a report of a gun stolen from a vehicle.

• Johnson County

• Burglary

• 4800 block of Oakton Way: Police responded at 6:34 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a home that was burglarized overnight while the residents were in the house. A briefcase, laptop, purse and its contents, and several tools were stolen. A wallet and purse were found in the backyard. According to the report, the burglars may have made entry into the home with a garage door opener.

• Criminal mischief

• 3700 block of Chancellor Drive: Police responded at 12:40 p.m. Saturday to a report of a home being shot with paintballs and Halloween decorations outside the home destroyed.

• Thefts

• 4900 block of Pennington Drive: Police responded at 12:43 p.m. Monday to a report of a vehicle stolen out of a driveway.

• 4100 block of Sagewood Court, Greenwood: Police responded at 6:40 p.m. Sunday to a report of briefcase taken out of a vehicle.

• 800 block of South Old U.S. 31, Franklin: Police responded at 9:32 p.m. Friday to a report of stolen medication.

• 1400 block of County Road 550E, Franklin: Police responded at 11:10 a.m. Friday to a report of stolen jewelry and a stolen coin collection

• The following people recently were arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

• Martez J. Smith, 25, 4513 Heartman Drive, Indianapolis; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $500 bond.

• Christopher L. Braun, 21, 3260 Treetop Drive, Titusville, Fla.; arrested on a charge of criminal conversion; held on $1,000 bond.

• Alfred Lee Roseberry, 50, 849 S. Belleview Place, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a previous conviction; released on $1,000 bond.

• Joseph W. Pipkin, 27, 4404 Nema St., Edinburgh; arrested on charges of violation of community corrections and probation revocation; held without bond.

• George Riley Hubbard, 41, 2103 S. County Road 475W, Morgantown;

• arrested on a charge of criminal conversion; released on $1,000 bond.

• Christina Cantrell, 29, 1009 Greenwood Springs Drive, Apt. 113, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of battery; released on $1,000 bond.

• Connor Louis Epperson, 22, 4377 W. County Line Road, Lot 45, Greenwood; arrested for probation revocation; held without bond.

• Kaylan Amber Coffey, 21, 693 Metairie Drive, Apt. C, Greenwood; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held without bond.

• Breanna Lynn Jones, 18, 949 Mullinix Road, Greenwood; arrested for probation revocation; held without bond.

• Jonathan Ray Fischman, 25, 11312 Clearspring Way, Indianapolis; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $166.50.

• Maria G. Gonzalez, 36, 1209 Freemont Lane, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a previous conviction; held on $1,000 bond.

• Christopher Paul McCollum, 32, 945 English Ave., Indianapolis; arrested on charges of theft, auto theft and driving without ever receiving a license; held on $10,000 bond.

• Jason A. Hankins, 34, 6360 Northview Drive, McCordsville; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $350 bond.

• Marvin E. Fox, 39, 802 N. Dearborn St., Indianapolis; arrested on an out-of-county warrant and on a charge of false reporting or informing; held without bond.

• The following people recently were arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and booked into jail:

• Thomas A. Hamblen, 26, 411 Lakeshore Court, Franklin; also arrested on charges of resisting an officer, disorderly conduct and leaving the scene of an accident; held on $6,000 bond.

• Tyler K. Davis, 19, 7620 Southfield Drive, Indianapolis; also arrested on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident; held on $2,000 bond.
