Franklin

• Thefts

• 1700 block of Franklin Place Court: Police responded at 9:24 p.m. Thursday to a report of a juvenile problem.

Greenwood

• Battery

• 600 block of Woodale Terrace: Police responded at 8:37 p.m. Thursday to a report of a male grabbing a female’s hand to get a set of car keys and dislocated or broke her finger.

Burglary

• First block of Village Crossing Drive: Police responded at 4:46 p.m. Thursday to a report of burglary.

• 1200 block of Burr Oak Court: Police responded at 11:57 a.m. Thursday to a report of an attempted break-in at a house. A home alarm went off, and it appeared that a door frame at the residence was damaged.

Criminal mischief

• Home Depot, 850 S. State Road 135: Police responded at 8:11 p.m. Thursday to a report of damage to a vehicle.

• McDonald’s, 2252 S. U.S. 31: Police responded at 5:50 p.m. Thursday to a report of a spray-painted car.

• McDonald’s, 2252 S. U.S. 31: Police responded at 1:49 p.m. Thursday to a report of criminal mischief to a scooter.

Thefts

• Kohl’s, 550 Fry Road: Police responded at 7:42 p.m. Thursday to a report of theft. Chelsea M. Harrison was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.

• Kohl’s, 550 Fry Road: Police responded at 5:15 p.m. Thursday to a report of a shoplifter not cooperating.

• 100 block of Melody Avenue: Police responded at 5:14 p.m. Thursday to a report of a stolen catalytic converter.

• J.C. Penney, 1251 N. U.S. 31: Police responded at 3:04 p.m. Thursday to a report of shoplifting.

• Aldi, 1595 S. U.S. 31: Police responded at 2:43 p.m. Thursday to a report of theft.

• Kohl’s, 550 Fry Road: Police responded at 12:46 p.m. Thursday to a report of theft.

• 100 block of West Pearl Street: Police responded at 11:54 a.m. Thursday to a report of theft.

Property-damage accidents

• 3:38 p.m. Thursday — Smith Valley and Averitt roads

Johnson County

• Battery

• 2100 block of South County Road 475 West, Morgantown: Police responded at 10 p.m. Thursday to a report of a fight among three people. A woman was arrested on charges of battery and criminal trespass.

Burglary

• 6400 block of North County Road 25 West, Whiteland: Police responded at 10:13 p.m. Thursday to a report of a stolen 5-gallon jug containing $1,500 in change.

• 9800 block of Possum Hollow Road, Acton: Police responded at 3:06 p.m. Thursday to a report of a residential burglary that took place Oct. 7.

Criminal mischief:

• 2100 block of Bodine Place, Greenwood: Police responded at 7:54 a.m. Thursday to a report of four males ripping sidewalk lights off of residential property. The incident was recorded.

Thefts

• 7300 block of South Nineveh Road, Nineveh: Police responded at 4:44 p.m. Thursday to a report of a stolen well pump.

• 1300 block of North State Road 37, Greenwood: Police responded at 10:25 a.m. Thursday to a report of a wire electrical box being cut from a barn. A storage trailer was rummaged through as well.

The following people recently were arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

• Michael S. Craft, 44, 3004 Villa St., Indianapolis; arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and driving while suspended with a prior conviction; released on $2,000 bond.

• Blake Allen Franklin, 20, 5537 N. Central, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of violation of community corrections; held without bond.

• William Chad Hadley, 29, 2933 Ninth St., Columbus; arrested on a charge of contempt of court; held on $919.50 bond.

• Angelito Fernando-Car Mercado, 35, 401 N. Main St., Apt. 6A, Franklin; arrested for probation revocation; held without bond.

• Brittani Alexandria Scurlock, 23, 1800 N. Ewing St., Seymour; arrested for probation revocation; held without bond.

• Sheena Renee Smith, 28, 1868 W. State Road 44, Franklin; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a prior conviction; released on $2,000 bond.

• Kenyana Kenkade Lee, 35, 3623 Wallace Ave., Indianapolis; arrested on an out-of-state warrant; held without bond.

• Brandon Wesley Young, 29, 541 Everling Drive, Morgantown; arrested on charges of theft and resisting an officer; held on $4,000 bond.

• Aron Lee Taylor, 18, 1663 Blue Grass Parkway, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of burglary; held on $20,000 bond.

• Shawn C. Bolduc, 18, 897 Quarterhorse Run, Bargersville; arrested on charges of theft or receiving stolen property and possession, consumption or transportation of alcohol by a minor; held on $4,000 bond.

• Chelsea Michon Harrison, 37, 310 N. Denny St., Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of theft; held on $3,000 bond.

• Kathryn L. Barrett, 25, 3686 Shoreline Drive, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of theft or receiving stolen property; released on $3,000 bond.

• Jeremy D. Umbenhower, 25, 4085 Country Lane, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a prior conviction; released on $1,000 bond.

• Jerrie Lynn Bottoms, 58, 461 Parkview Drive, New Whiteland; arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct; held on $1,000 bond.

• Bobbijo Lynn Hubbard, 42, 2017 S. County Road 475W, Morgantown; arrested on charges of battery and criminal trespass; held on $2,000 bond.

• Miguel A. Mejia, 48, 3856 E. Michigan St., Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of driving without a license without ever receiving one; held on $1,000 bond.

The following person recently was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated and booked into jail:

• John K. Bullington, 47, 349 Miller Drive, Greenwood; held on $1,000 bond.
