Franklin

• Burglaries

• 400 block of Center Street: Police responded at 8:33 p.m. Thursday to a report of residential burglary. Jewelry and miscellaneous items were taken.

• 1000 block of West Jefferson Street: Police responded at 2:31 p.m. Thursday to a report of residential burglary.

Fight

• Lowe’s Home Improvement, 2219 N. Morton St.: Police responded at 8:18 a.m. Thursday to a report of a fight between two men in the parking lot. According to the report, their vehicles nearly collided in the parking lot, which caused an argument and threats. Minor injuries were reported.

Property-damage accident

• 12:32 p.m. Wednesday — Jefferson Street and U.S. 31.

Theft

• 3000 block of U.S. 31 North: A woman reported at 8:28 p.m. Wednesday that a $3,000 check was missing from her mailbox.

Criminal mischief

• 900 block of Foxtail Drive: A man reported at 6:51 p.m. Wednesday that someone threw eggs at the back of his vehicle.

Personal-injury accident

• 1:03 a.m. Friday — Interstate 65, mile-marker 89.5: Erica L. Perez, 33, Camby, reported minor bleeding on a knee, lower leg or foot; Juan Perez, 29, Camby, reported minor bleeding on an elbow or lower arm; Issac Lawrence, 11, Camby, reported chest pain; Alexis Lawrence, 14, Camby, reported pain on an elbow or lower arm; Isla Perez, 2, Camby, reported chest pain; David Perez, 6 months, was checked by hospital staff and determined to be fine.

Property-damage accident

• 9:18 p.m. Thursday — U.S. 31 and Simon Road

Johnson County

• Burglary

• 2800 block of Mullinix Road: Police responded at 6:05 p.m. Thursday to a report of an attempted break-in at a pole barn.

Drug investigation

• Mile-marker 90 on Interstate 65: Police pulled over a vehicle for failure to signal when changing lanes at 10:06 a.m. Thursday. After officers asked him what he was carrying in the vehicle, he gave conflicting statements. A drug-sniffing dog searched the vehicle, and marijuana was found, according to the report. Derryl Matthew Jenkins was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and reckless possession of paraphernalia.

Fraud

• 4900 block of Pennington Drive: Police responded at 9:05 a.m. Thursday to a report of fraudulent bank and credit card activity.

Thefts

• 2900 block of Mullinix Road: Police responded at 12:12 p.m. Thursday to a report of a burglarized camper. A VCR, flat-screen television and bag of tools were taken.

• 3900 block of Creekwood Drive: A man reported at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday that someone stole a knife, laptop, medical documents and cash from his vehicle.

• 100 block of South Peterman Road: A man reported at 3:31 p.m. Wednesday that someone stole a gun from his vehicle.

Jail bookings

The following people recently were arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

• Jason M. Mills, 40, 609 N. Worth St., Indianapolis; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $19,525 bond.

• Daniel R. Hatfield, 49, 3466 Peoga Road, Trafalgar; arrested on a charge of contempt of court; released on $500 bond.

• Douglas Wayne Kean, 52, 404 Clay St., Edinburgh; arrested on a charge of battery; released on $2,000 bond.

• Anthony Mark Sewell, 35, 50 Julia St., Franklin; arrested on a charge of parole violation; held without bond.

• Derryl Matthew Jenkins, 46, 5821 Ewing Avenue North, Brooklyn Center, Minn.; arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and reckless possession of paraphernalia; held on $2,000 bond.

• William Bradley Spitler, 32, 4747 Hickory Wood Row, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of probation revocation; held without bond.

• Michael Haynes, 47, 7212 E. Minnesota St., Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of probation revocation; released on $500 bond.

• Ryan Douglas Deskins, 32, 8647 S. Nash Drive, Nineveh; arrested on a charge of probation revocation; released on $1,000 bond.

• Shamberley Dawn Smock, 33, 832 Sable Creek Lane, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of theft or receiving stolen property; released on $3,000 bond.

• Sergio Humberto Zivec, 34, 309 W. Edwards Ave., Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of driving without ever receiving a license; released on $1,000 bond.

• Andrew Randall Howe, 26, 1701 S. Meridian St., Greenwood; arrested on a charge of probation revocation; held without bond.

• Sherman Harold Parks, 23, 25 E. Legrande Ave., Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of resisting an officer; held without bond.

• Quinn A. Shaker, 33, 354 Atherton Drive, Carmel; arrested on a charge of contempt of court; held on $420 bond.
