Franklin

• Criminal mischief

• Waffle and Steak, 98 Lovers Lane: Police responded at 3:26 a.m. Thursday to a report of someone puncturing a vehicle tire.

• 1500 block of Cottonwood Drive: Police responded at 3:13 p.m. Wednesday to a report of someone having thrown eggs onto a vehicle.

Thefts

• 2000 block of Younce Street: Police responded at 3:13 a.m. Friday to a report of two men taking a GPS and change out of an unlocked vehicle.

• 3000 block of U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 11:12 a.m. Thursday to a report of jewelry stolen from a            residence.

• Walmart, 2125 N. Morton St.: Police responded at 9:46 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a woman shoplifting several women’s apparel items. The woman was arrested on a charge of theft.

Shots fired

• Circle K, 10 N. Morton St.: Police responded at 8:42 p.m. Thursday to a report of gunshots. A man accidentally fired a handgun, but police didn’t find any evidence of bullets hitting anything.

Personal-injury accidents

• 11:16 a.m. Wednesday — U.S. 31 and KYB Drive: Taylor R. Burton Hazelgrove, 20, Franklin, reported head pain; C.D. Richey, 30, Franklin, reported neck pain; Steven K. Bontrager, 26, Indianapolis.

• 7:16 p.m. Wednesday — U.S. 31 and Adams Street: Bobby J. Eisenmenger, 32, Franklin, reported shoulder or upper arm pain; Lauren E. Fields, 16, Franklin.

Property-damage accidents

• 6:53 a.m. Thursday — 1041 W. Jefferson St.

• 12:53 p.m. Wednesday — U.S. 31 and Paul Hand Boulevard

Johnson County

• Battery

• 3500 block of West Stones Crossing Road: Police responded at 9:52 p.m. Thursday to a report of a quarrel and fight.

Fraud

• Report taken at sheriff’s office, 1091 Hospital Road, Franklin: Police responded at 4:56 p.m. Wednesday to a report of fraudulent charges of more than $600 made to the sheriff’s office bank account.

• Report made at sheriff’s office, 1091 Hospital Road, Franklin: Police responded at 3:54 p.m. Wednesday to a report of fraud. A man reported being contacted by two people in a phone scam who said his grandson was in jail and needed to wire thousands of dollars to bail him out. The man called his grandson and found that he was at home in Greenwood.

Residential entry

• 5700 block of South County Road 300W: Police responded at 5:51 a.m. Thursday to a report of a burglarized vacant home. Miscellaneous household goods were scattered outside the house on the property.

Thefts

• 5100 block of Copperwood Drive: Police responded at 7:54 a.m. Wednesday to a report of two vehicles being burglarized. Change was taken from the vehicles.

• 100 block of East County Road 775S: Police responded at 12:58 p.m. Thursday to a report of several pieces of jewelry having been stolen from a residence in May.

• 100 block of East County Road 775S: Police responded at 12:21 p.m. Thursday to a report of two stolen fishing poles.

Jail bookings

The following people recently were arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

• Christian Arroyo, 22, 410 E. Broadway St., Greenwood; arrested on a charge of domestic battery; held on $1,000 bond.

• Matthew Aaron Coy, 31, 703 W. Pearl St., Trafalgar; arrested on charges of domestic battery, criminal confinement and interference with reporting a crime; released on $7,000 bond.

• Hunter Alexander Jedele, 18, 225 Home Ave., Greenwood; arrested on a charge of battery; held on $1,000 bond.

• Holly M. Waddington, 30, 6381 Eastern Range Road, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a previous conviction; released on $1,000 bond.

• Quinton M. Fannin, 19, 7018 N. County Road 150W, Shelbyville; arrested on a Shelby County warrant; held without bond.

• Gursimran Singh, 21, 2883 Hearthside Drive, Greenwood; arrested on charges of criminal mischief, intimidation and public intoxication; held on $6,000 bond.

• Paul Alexander Borges, 20, 51 Ridge St., Franklin; arrested on a charge of probation revocation; held without bond.

The following people recently were arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and booked into jail:

• Robyn P. Smith, 43, 4770 Krestridge Court East, Bargersville; held on $3,000 bond.

• Rosemary Lucas, 41, 112 Hawthorne Lane, Greenwood; held on $1,000 bond.
