    First block of Lochry Court: Police responded at 8:18 p.m. Monday to a report of a woman throwing hot food at a man, causing blistering and other visible injuries on his skin.
    Thefts:
    200 block of 14th Street: Police responded at 4:10 p.m. Monday to a report of several items stolen from a home, including a flat-screen TV, gaming system and controller and an alarm clock.
    2100 block of U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 9:57 a.m. Monday to a report of theft from a vendor selling fireworks in front of the Franklin Walmart store.
    Johnson County
    Burglary
    600 block of South County Road 100 West, Franklin: Police responded at 7:36 p.m. Monday to a report of a home burglary in which more than $2,500 worth of jewelry was stolen.
    Fraud
    5200 block of Kathie Court: Police responded at 2:03 p.m. Monday to a report of someone having stolen a debit card and a check and fraudulently used them to withdraw funds totaling close to $1,000.
    Theft
    First block of Court Street, Franklin: Police responded at 11:31 a.m. Monday to a report of $120 taken from a government department at the Johnson County Courthouse Annex.
    500 block of Ho Hum Court, Greenwood: Police responded at 8:51 a.m. Monday to a report of a set of golf clubs taken out of an unlocked truck.
    6400 block of East County Road 250 South, Franklin: Police responded at 8:20 a.m. Monday to a report of $600 in cash taken from residence.
    Personal injury accident
    12:05 p.m. Monday: County roads 650 North and 500 West, Greenwood: Katelynn G. Sodrel, 16, Greenwood, reported minor bleeding from an eye; Zeke Sodrel, 16, reported minor bleeding from his eye
    Jail bookings
    The following people recently were arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:
    Danny Charles Flores, 18, 1726 Franklin Place Court, Franklin; arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court; held on $500 bond.
    Patrick Dwayne Daniels, 25, 401 Harrell Drive, Edinburgh; arrested on a charge of sexual battery; held on $3,000 bond.
    William Lawrence Giesting, 40, 11179 S. Main St., Flat Rock; arrested on a charge of dealing in marijuana; released on $3,000 bond.
    Jeremiah S. Cheema, 33, 75 Staples Ave., San Francisco; arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana; released on $1,000 bond.
    Shane Taylor Huffman, 22, 3322 W. Minnesota St., Indianapolis; arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court; held on $5,000 bond.
