Franklin

• Criminal mischief

• 2100 block of Galaxy Drive: Police responded at 7:14 a.m. Friday to a report of someone having thrown signs and a mailbox containing human waste and toilet paper into a pool, and someone egging a vehicle.

• 300 block of South Home Avenue: Police responded at 6:36 p.m. Thursday to a report of a broken window at a house.

• 600 block of Kentucky Street: Police responded at 2:38 p.m. Thursday to a report of a slashed couch, possibly cut with a knife.

• Lowe’s, 2219 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 11:17 a.m. Thursday to a report of scratches on a car.

Thefts

• CVS, 11 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 2:08 a.m. Friday to a report of shoplifting of cosmetics. Erica E. Hogan was arrested in the incident.

• 2200 block of Hampton Drive: Police responded at 6:42 p.m. Thursday to a report of a handgun stolen from a truck. The gun was valued about $650.

• OC Repair and Fabrication, 2112 Early Lane: Police responded at 6:02 p.m. Thursday to a report of a stolen charged air cooler.

• Walmart, 2125 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 2:36 p.m. Thursday to a report of two male juveniles who were caught shoplifting. One was released to a parent’s custody.

• Kohl’s, 415 Mallory Pkwy: Police responded at 12:36 p.m. Thursday for shoplifting. A man was caught on camera attempting to steal a shirt from the store. Jerrod Emmert was arrested in the incident.

• 100 block of North Jackson Street: Police responded at 11:01 a.m. Thursday to a report of two solar lights stolen from a front yard walkway.

Greenwood

• First block of South Greenwood Street: Police responded at 8:10 p.m. Thursday to a report of several items including a phone charger, CDs and prescription medication stolen from a car.

• 900 block of South Haven Road: Police responded at 7:36 p.m. Thursday to a report of theft.

• 1900 block of Peck Street: Police responded at 9:21 a.m. Thursday to a report of two bicycles stolen off a front porch.

• 1100 block of N. Emerson Avenue: Police responded at 1:29 p.m. Thursday to a report of theft.

Johnson County

• Theft

• 3400 block of West Smith Valley Road, Greenwood: Police responded at 10:22 a.m. Thursday to a report of someone stealing a vehicle title, a vehicle and a flat-screen TV.

The following people recently were arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

• Anthony Alan Worthington, 30, 1258 Maple Court, Martinsville; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a prior conviction; released on $1,000 bond.

• Melissa N. Welch, 25, 1968 Adina Blvd., Indianapolis; arrested for probation revocation; held on $1,000 bond.

• Juma U. Mawalin, 25, 7746 Serena Stream Way, Indianapolis; arrested for theft or receiving stolen property; held on $3,000 bond.

• Cherl Lee Burton, 30, 15892 N. State Road 79, Edinburgh; arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court; released on $370.71 bond.

• Jerrod Matthew Emmert, 22, 937 Pakamino Place, Bargersville; arrested on a charge of theft or receiving stolen property; released on $6,000 bond.

• Anthony Thomas Felumero, 49, 765 Woodale Terrace, Greenwood; arrested on charges of dealing in schedule I, II or III controlled substance and dealing in marijuana; held on $70,000 bond.

• James A. French, 22, 2920 W. Epler Ave, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of contempt of court and driving while suspended with a prior conviction; held on $1,360 bond.

• Katelyn Elaine Wilson, 21, 450 Pearl St., Greenwood; arrested on a charge of false reporting or informing; released on $1,000 bond.

• Christopher E. Johnson, 29, 99 Davis Drive, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of domestic battery; held without bond.

• Jimmie Dean Bickers, 25, 109 E. County Road 700 North, Greenwood; arrested on charges of driving while suspended with a prior conviction and failure to stop at the scene of an accident; released on $2,000 bond.

• Clifford W. Stone, 39, 1185 Oakleaf Road, Franklin; arrested on a charge of public nudity; released on $1,000 bond.

• Erica Elaine Hogan, 26, 1168 Johns Court, Nineveh; arrested on a charge of theft or receiving stolen property; held on $6,000 bond.
