• 2000 block of Pelican Drive: Police responded at 2:36 p.m. Wednesday to a report of check forgery. A resident reported that she believes checks may have been stolen by two men who came to her door selling magazines.

• 2200 block of Leeward Court: Police responded at 7:57 a.m. Thursday to a report of theft from a vehicle.

• 1100 block of Charleston Lane: Police responded at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a wallet taken from a vehicle.

• 2300 block of South State Road 135: Police responded at 2:14 p.m. on Wednesday to report of stolen jewelry and a wallet.

• 3100 block of Prairie Drive: Police responded at 12:01 p.m. Tuesday to a report of identity theft.

• Power Dyne, 100 block of Crossroads Drive, Whiteland: Police responded at 9:21 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a stolen trailer.

• Battery

• 4300 block of West County Line Road: Police responded at 8:08 p.m. Wednesday to a report of battery involving a juvenile.

• Fraud

• 1900 block of East County Road 125S: Police responded at 1:26 p.m. Wednesday to a report of credit card fraud. Someone opened a credit account, and a collections agency was attempting to collect a debt of more than $3,000.

• Theft

• 3300 block of Wembly Road: Police responded at 7:34 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a wallet being taken from an unlocked vehicle and thrown into a yard nearby; $50 was taken.

• The following people recently were arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

• Barbara Broyles, 49, 5535 W. Ohio St., Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended; held on $1,000 bond.

• Christopher R. Gonfiantini, 23, 70 Oakden Court, New Whiteland; arrested on charges of battery and resisting an officer and warrants for failing to appear in court; held on $12,000 bond.

• Kristina Elaine Walker, 23, 818 Knollwood Drive, Greenwood; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; released on $300 bond.

• John Marcus McQueen, 34, 784 Shady Creek Drive, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a previous conviction; released on $1,000 bond.

• Robert A. Miller, 47, 6615 Little Leaf Place, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of public indecency; released on $1,000 bond.

• Heather D. Swallows-Hernandez, 21, 708 S. Roosevelt Ave., Edinburgh; arrested on a charge of contempt of court; held on $401.50.
