Battery
1000 block of U.S. 31 South: Police responded at 11:34 p.m. Friday to a report of a battery. According to the report, subjects battered someone and then hit his car with their car.
500 block of Madison Avenue: Police responded at 8:53 a.m. Friday to a report of battery.
Burglary
500 block of Northgate Drive: Police responded at 2 p.m. Friday to a report of attempted burglary. A side door to an attached garage was damaged.
Fraud
First Merchants Bank, 1250 N. Emerson Ave.: Police responded at 3:09 p.m. Friday to a report of stolen checks and other materials involved in a possible fraud.
Prowler
2100 block of Allen Road: Police responded at 4:04 a.m. Sunday to a report of a resident hearing noise in a backyard and a dog growling.
Thefts
Walmart, 1122 N. Emerson Ave: Police responded at 6:28 p.m. Saturday to a report of theft.
700 block of East Main Street: Police responded at 4:40 p.m. Saturday to a report of a window broken out of a vehicle from which a purse was stolen.
200 block of West Smith Valley Road: Police responded at 11:21 p.m. Friday to a report of a stolen cell phone.
500 block of Boonesboro Road: Police responded at 2:21 p.m. Friday to a report of theft of ceiling tile and fans.
Meijer, 150 Marlin Drive: Police responded at 2:04 p.m. Friday to a report of theft.
600 block of Connors Drive: Police responded at 1:03 p.m. Friday to a report of theft. A window was broken on a vehicle.
100 block of Pearl Street: Police responded at 11:34 a.m. Friday to a report of theft.
600 block of Connors Drive: Police responded at 8:17 a.m. Friday to a report of theft from a vehicle.
