Franklin

• Burglary

• 700 block of Hurricane Street: Police responded at 1:20 p.m. Thursday to a report of a home that was broken into. Jewelry was stolen.

Fraud

• Report taken at Franklin Police Department, 2801 U.S. 31 North: A man reported a scam in which he was told to wire almost $400 after he was approved for a $2,000 fraudulent loan over the phone.

Thefts

• 400 block of Pelenor Drive: Police responded at 4:55 p.m. Thursday to a report of a revolver stolen from a vehicle.

• 100 block of Jordan Drive: Police responded at 3:57 p.m. Thursday to a report of a stolen bicycle.

• 2100 block of Hampton Drive: Police responded at 8:19 a.m. Thursday to a report of copper plumbing material stolen from a home under construction.

• First block of Robinson Street: Police responded at 7:52 a.m. Thursday to a report of a shed and garage that were broken into. Air guns, tools and car parts were taken. The stolen items are estimated to be worth more than $3,100.

• 5:19 p.m. Thursday — State Road 44 and Bartram Parkway: Jennie M. Bates, 39, Greenwood, reported head pain; Shari J. Snyder, 21, Liberty.

• 9:59 a.m. Thursday — Jefferson Street and U.S. 31: Julie R. Farley, 33, Franklin; David L. Matney, 62, Bloomington; Sally Matney, 61, Bloomington, reported neck pain.

• 10:55 p.m. Thursday — Madison and Main streets

• Burglary

• 600 block of Library Park Drive: Police responded at 2:41 a.m. Friday to a report of burglary to a business.

• 600 block of Library Park Drive: Police responded at 2:18 a.m. Friday to a report of burglary.

• 600 block of Library Park Drive: Police responded at 2:11 a.m. Friday to a report of burglary to a business.

• 600 block of Library Park Drive: Police responded at 2:09 a.m. Friday to a report of a burglary to a business.

Criminal mischief

• 300 block of Sunburst Lane: Police responded at 1:49 a.m. Friday to a report of a window being shattered by a rock thrown through it.

• 1400 block of Green Spring Way: Police responded at 10:36 a.m. Thursday to a report of a vehicle doused in ketchup.

Fraud

• Manpower, 2650 Fairview Place: Police responded at 2:42 p.m. Thursday to a report of an employee getting paid for hours he was not working.

Thefts

• 100 block of Christy Drive: Police responded at 11:07 p.m. Thursday to a report of a theft that occurred at Greenwood Community High School.

• 1200 block of U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 8:58 p.m. Thursday to a report of a stolen purse.

• 600 block of Blue Meadow Drive: Police responded at 4:53 p.m. Thursday to a report of a domestic dispute involving children’s belongings.

• Kohl’s, 550 Fry Road: Police responded at 4:07 p.m. Thursday to a report of someone attempting to take almost $300 worth of merchandise from the store without paying for it. A woman was arrested and issued a summons to appear in court.

• Macy’s, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 1:11 p.m. Thursday to a report of theft.

• 600 block of Hillcrest Drive: Police responded at 11:55 a.m. Thursday to a report of identity theft.

Johnson County

• Domestic battery

• 4200 block of West County Road 300S: Police responded at 1:51 a.m. Friday to a report of domestic battery.

The following people recently were arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

• Patrick James Mathes, 22, 840 River Ave., Indianapolis; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $1,200 bond.

• Jarrod Glenn Bertram, 35, 3560 W. Lambert St., Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of contempt of court; released on $200 bond.

• Kevin Eric Roberts, 29, 5620 E. Landersdale Road, Camby; arrested on a charge of violation of community corrections; held without bond.

• Jessica Amber Neylon, 22, 1363 Chesterfield Court, Greenwood; arrested on a charges of possession of a restricted drug-injection device, possession of cocaine, narcotics or methamphetamine, and possession of paraphernalia; held on $10,000 bond.

• Jonathan David Doyle, 31, 2908 W. County Road 550S, Trafalgar; arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance; released on $3,000 bond.

• Joseph Lee Yarrito, 36, 166 Southern Plaza Drive, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a previous conviction; released on $1,000 bond.

• Richard Quintus Wagner, 24, 1445 Dowell St., Greenwood; arrested on a charge of probation revocation; held without bond.

• Kaitlyn Renee Fennelly, 23, 127 W. Lake Point Drive, Apt. 7, Greensburg; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a previous conviction; released on $1,000 bond.

• Logan Richard Modlin, 18, 4030 S. Bazil Ave., Indianapolis; arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia; released on $2,000 bond.

• Robert Curtis Arney, 39, 1137 Jackson St., Hope; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a previous conviction; held on $1,000 bond.

• John P. Wilson, 65, 4256 W. County Road 300S, Trafalgar; arrested on a charge of domestic battery; released on $1,000 bond.

The following person recently was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated and booked into jail:

• Gary Lynn Benefiel, 63, 5351 U.S. 31 South, Franklin; also arrested on a charge of criminal conversion; held on $4,000 bond.
