Burglary
5100 block of Mount Pleasant Street: Police responded at 8:56 p.m. Monday to a report of a stove, refrigerator, washer, dryer and carpets taken from a rental property. Damage also was reported, according to the report.
800 block of Queensgate Drive: Police responded at 6:01 p.m. Monday to a report of a burglarized home. The front door was broken into, and jewelry was stolen.
4200 block of Messersmith Drive: Police responded at 5:05 p.m. Monday to a report of a burglarized home. About 200 pieces of jewelry valued at several thousand dollars, and $200 in change were taken. The front door of the residence was forced open.
Criminal mischief
4000 block of Greensburg Road: Police responded at 8:56 p.m. Monday to a report of someone having written on walls of a house and a damaged vehicle.
1091 Hospital Road, Franklin: Police responded at 4:48 p.m. Monday to a report of a jail inmate tampering with a sprinkler head, damaging it and causing the sprinkler system to go off in the jail.
1100 block of East County Road 775S: Police responded at 1:18 p.m. Monday to a report of someone entering an unlocked garage and scattering trash all over the floor.
Thefts
500 block of New London Drive: Police responded at 7:36 a.m. Tuesday to a report of theft.
Cornerstone Contracting, 7742 S. Nineveh Road: Police responded at 2:44 p.m. Monday to a report of a stolen sign.
2300 block of East County Road 500N: Police responded at 2:03 p.m. Monday to a report of $800 stolen from an individual.
1000 block of Hospital Road, Franklin: Police responded at 1:46 p.m. Monday to a report of theft.
