MADISON, Indiana - In a story May 22 about Jefferson County's commissioners approving $35,000 for a preservation group, The Associated Press erroneously reported that the money would be used to preserve historic county records. The funding was approved after an advisory board recommended that the money might be best used to preserve those records, but it could be used for other purposes.
