Wayne D. Repp
Wayne D. Repp, 62, of Edinburgh, died Sunday, June 9, 2013, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.
He was born Nov. 5, 1950, in Indianapolis to the late Donald W. Repp and Doris Maxine (Ziglar) Repp. He was a 1969 graduate of Columbus High School.
He married Susan (Meyer) Repp on Oct. 30, 1970. She survives.
He also is survived by his daughter, Dana Goddard of Edinburgh; two siblings, John A. (Sue) Repp of Hope and Nancy K. (Denny) Meyer of Edinburgh; and two grandchildren, Connor and Evan Goddard.
He was a member of Old Union United Church of Christ in Edinburgh and Edinburgh Masonic Lodge No. 100, where he was a past master.
He retired from Cummins Inc. after 30 years of service and then worked part time at NAPA Auto Parts and at Hope & Tri-County Auto Parts in Edinburgh.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, hunting, building and working on street rod cars, and participating in street rod tours and shows. He was also an avid Pacers fan.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh. The Rev. Kirby Rupp will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where a Masonic service will be conducted at 8 p.m. today. Burial will be at Old Union Cemetery in Edinburgh.
