Ida Mae Branstutter
Ida Mae Branstutter, 62, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013, at her residence in Franklin.
She was born on July 4, 1950, in Peabody, Ky., to Steve and Presha (Revis) Gilbert.
She married Olan Branstutter on May 21, 1970. He lovingly survives in Franklin.
Other survivors include one son, Edward Scott (Angie) Branstutter; one daughter, Barbara Mae (Stan) Holley; two grandchildren, Drew Scott Branstutter and Sara Elizabeth Mason; two stepgrandchildren, Meagan Hill and Aaron Hill; one brother, Marcus Edward Gilbert; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; sister, Mallie Lois Gilbert; brothers, Marvin Gilbert, John Henry Gilbert and James Gilbert; sisters, Elizabeth Sylvia Wagers and Virginia Lee Poe.
Ida graduated in 1969 from Clay County High School in Kentucky.
She was employed by Just Rite in Franklin for several years.
She was a member of Franklin Memorial Christian Church. She was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan and loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
