The Rev. Truman D. Gottschalk, 88, of Indianapolis, died Sunday, June 2, 2013.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Paradise Bendinger Gottschalk; children, Laurel Denise (Jack) Reinking of Spring Lake, Mich., Stephen (Beverly) Gottschalk of Charleston, S.C., and Rudy (Martha) Gottschalk of Atlanta; three stepchildren; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five stepgrandchildren; eight great-stepgrandchildren; and sisters, Marjorie DeArmond and Vivian Sprunger, both of Berne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clemet and Mahala Ruesser Gottschalk; his wives, Eileen Roth Gottschalk and Alice Huff Gottschalk; and his sister, Phyllis Conrad.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Southport Presbyterian Church – Toney Chapel, 7525 McFarland Blvd., Indianapolis, with visitation an hour before the service. Also a service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First
Missionary Church, U.S. 27, Berne, with visitation an hour before the service. Burial will be in M.R.E. Cemetery in Berne.
