Manuel Carl Michael
Mr. Manuel Carl Michael, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013.
He was born Feb. 24, 1923, in Thayer, Mo., a son of Charles and Caroline (Bryant) Michael.
Survivors include his children, Mark “Butch” Michael, Cheryl R. Burton and Barbara A. Knott; a brother, John Michael; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma; six brothers; and two sisters.
Manuel served our country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St. Pastor Byron Fritz will officiate. Visitation will be from noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
