Gracie Louella Warfield
Gracie Louella Warfield, 79, of Peru, Ind., went to be with her Savior and loved ones who have gone before her at 3:20 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013, at her home with family at her side.
She was born June 22, 1933, in Eubank, Ky., to Jack and Julia (Price) Inabnitt, who preceded her in death.
She will be sorely missed by one sister, Bessie Bullock; two daughters, Julie (William) Dennis and Lesa (Gary) Neeman; two sons, Keith (Tracey) Bingham and Thomas (Shelley) Geoghegan; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She loved God and family, spoiling grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed gardening, watching the deer, feeding the birds and just being surrounded by nature. She was known by all as “one sweet, beautiful lady.”
She was preceded in death by her husband, Levi Warfield; two sons, Lanny Bingham and Jeffery Bingham; two daughters, Beverly Wesley and Robin Ballinger; four brothers, Ansil, Tint, Berkley and Kelly Inabnitt; and five sisters, Flossie Belcher, Tressie Chaney, Jessie Burdine, Betty Simmons and Lessie Miller.
A service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Gracie will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
