John V. Yingling III
John V. Yingling III, 38, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013.
He was born June 5, 1974, in Devens, Mass., to John V. Yingling Jr. and Diane (Dalton) Howington, and was a son to his other mother, Debbie Yingling.
John was a graduate of Southport High School and held a bachelor of science degree as a millwright from Carpenters Training Center. He was a member of Millwright Local 1693 and worked many years for Cardinal Contracting.
John loved to ride his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and spend time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He married Christy Johnson on Feb. 22, 2012, in Indianapolis.
She survives along with his parents; parents-in-law, Steve and Diana Johnson; four sons, Brad Yingling, Brittin and Chase Salmon, and Alex Johnson; two daughters, Stacey Yingling and
Cheyeanna Leslie; a brother, Christopher Yingling; a sister, Cindy Totten and husband, John; three nephews; and many many friends.
Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Weddleville Lutheran Cemetery in Medora.
