Carl J. Cook, 80, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Richard L. Roudebush V.A. Hospital in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Greenwood.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Sue Paisley; five sons, Michael (Kelly), Patrick, Kelly (Christine) and Scott (Juli) Cook, and Steven (Megan) Sorrell; four daughters, Jackie (Bill) Foltz, Sandy (Kevin) Griffin, Starla (Tim) Gross and Stacia (Thomas) Sorrell-Bencze; four brothers, Robert (Lou), Wayne, Bud (Ruth) and Bill Cook; two sisters, Gerry Girone and Shirley LeClerc; 23 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul M. and Vina (Gagnon) Cook; and two brothers, Fred and Paul Cook.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn Ben Franklin Mausoleum in Greenwood with military honors.
