The Rev. Keith Eugene Hamilton, 89, of Franklin, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Franklin United Methodist Community.
He was born March 26, 1923, in New Boston, Iowa, a son of Hubert Howard and Edna Josephine (Anson) Hamilton. He married Marilyn (Baker) Hamilton on Dec. 19, 1946. She survives.
Other survivors include his children, the Rev. Laura Christine Truby, Timothy Keith Hamilton, David Joel Hamilton and Dr. Beth Joy Blackbird. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Mark Noel Hamilton; two brothers; and one sister.
Keith served our country in the U.S. Army Air Forces.
He graduated from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary with his Master of Divinity degree. He was a United Methodist minister and a missionary.
A service will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Wright Chapel of the Franklin United Methodist Community, Wright Chapel, 1070 W. Jefferson St. The Rev. Andy Kinsey will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Monday at the chapel. Inurnment will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Grace United Methodist Church, 1300 E. Adams Drive, Franklin.
Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Vandivier Tudor Chapel, has been entrusted with arrangements.
