INDIANAPOLIS
Erstel Denny, 85, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2012. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
Survivors include his wife, Mary A. Denny; children, Helen (Dale) Martin, Jacqueline (Donald) Stone, and Darrell and John (Jill) Denny; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two brothers, the Rev. Charles and Donald Denny.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence James and Ruth Denny; a daughter, Karen Battiato; and two brothers, Clarence and Carl Denny.
A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2905 Carson Ave., Indianapolis. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis.
